I heard that Rolex was having some issues with this movement. I’m still under warranty, so I’ll send it back again. Does anyone know if Rolex has a permanent fix for this issue?I have the SD43 and had an issue with it after 7 months, it was running 7.5 .My watch was running slow so I sent in for an overhaul. After getting it back, it’s . I have the SD43 and had an issue with it after 7 months, it was running 7.5 seconds slow per day. It was serviced about 2 years ago, and has been running +2 seconds per day .

Rest it dial up over-night to slow it down by 0.5 secs, or crown up over-night to speed it up by 0.5 secs. Out of all my other watches (including my other Rolexes) it was the . My watch was running slow so I sent in for an overhaul. After getting it back, it’s slightly running over 2 seconds a day. It’s ranges from 1.8 a day to 2.3 seconds a day. I know that Rolex’a accuracy specs is -2/+2 a day. I'd never own this movement, seems like a ticking time bomb. I don't see Rolex admitting to this problem either for obvious reasons. Apparently, Rolex claim that over 90% of the parts in the 3235 are new, and therefore different to the 3135. As you can imagine, that means it's almost entirely new, so the changes are many, including for example, a much longer mainspring and a correspondingly thinner walled barrel to house it.

Just curious if the 32XX movement problems have extended to the no-date variant, caliber 3230. Any submariner or OP owners (new releases of 2020) out there with the same movement problem as the 3235?? Specifically, losing time or discovering low amplitude on the movement. Thanks in advance. Grinding out a Submariner case or melting ceramic into a red and white bezel insert is just icing on the cake, and I’m sure Rolex knows this. One of the absolute worst things Rolex could do is replace a time-tested and reliable movement like the 3135 with something that doesn’t work as it should. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Rolex Datejust 41. After hearing some comments on this site-I getting a little worried about the 3235 movement and some troubles that some people are having. Are these just isolated incidents or is the 3235 movement something that I should be concerned about?

Looks like there are plenty of reports of slow 32XXs getting serviced and coming back fine for variable periods of time but then having issues again at a later time. After 5 years it's on your dime and you're out a watch for many, many weeks with how backed up the RSCs are. I have personally experienced a slow running 3235,many reports on the matter and tech analysis by Bas ,but what about the 3230 ? I understand that its a date less ,slimmer version of the 3235 . Have not seen any issues with the 3230 ?
